Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival

Carnation Festival is a celebration of our community since the city's incorporation in 1969. Once named the "Carnation Capital of the World", Wheat Ridge embraces its heritage through this spectacular event. In 2024, our 55th annual festival, Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival will be filled with food, music, culture and fun for people of all ages!The festival is produced by The Carnation Festival, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The City of Wheat Ridge sponsors the event along with local businesses and organizations. The festival raises funds for local service clubs, community organizations, and school groups. Many volunteers pitch in to make this event happen each year.
